Announcing the Zacuto $1,000 Filmmaking Grant

Zacuto customers know that Zacuto has always been about supporting our customers and the global filmmaking community—from education and hands-on customer service to tools designed by filmmakers, for filmmakers. Now, we want to support our customers in another direct way-  with cash grants.

We’re excited to announce the Zacuto $1,000 Filmmaking Grant, a cash grant designed to directly support an independent filmmaker and help move a project forward. The biggest problem every independent filmmaker faces is cash. Even on a micro budget, you have to feed your crew, buy expendables and pay for permits.

We’ve all been there—including Jens and Steve, the founders of Zacuto, who are filmmakers themselves, so we are here to help!

The interview isn’t about polish—it’s about process. We want to share how real filmmakers are building real projects.

Who’s eligible:

Any customer who purchases $250 worth of Zacuto products between January 15 and February 15, 2026. Purchases can be directly from Zacuto.com or through an authorized Zacuto reseller. Purchases from eBay, Etsy, used marketplaces, or non-authorized resellers are not eligible. A winner will be chosen by random on Feb. 16th, 2026.
