Quick to Adjust

Adjust the angle and the length very quickly. The XLR uses a twist lock mechanism, shown here and the 3.5mm uses friction to quickly pull open and extend or push to close.

Internally Cabled

Don't worry about messy cabling, the MicroBOOM is internally cabled - either XLR or TRS.

Well worth the investment. Did an entire shoot with a boom while the lavs sat in my bag. It’s light weight, quick to set up, and puts my small Rode right where it needs to be. Mounts nicely on my rig. That’s my little Zoom 32 bit recorder so levels are a non-issue. The audio was great and without the time and fuss of hiding lavs. Highly recommended accessory.

I really enjoyed using the microBOOM when I was filming solo at an event. My go to is a wireless mic in some way shape or form. With the microBOOM, I was able to interview and film without needing to mic up a person or keep track of a small wireless transmitter.
