Zacuto offers two rigs for the Canon EOS C-Series. One for the Canon C100 MK II, and one for the C300 Mark II .Options are available to build rigs for the original C100, C300, and the C500. They are similar in style to the rigs below but use a few different accessories.
The Canon EOS C100 Mark II and C300 Mark II cameras are compact and versatile solutions for the professional filmmaker. When converted to a Zacuto Recoil, the Canon C series cameras become powerful tools for capturing motion picture with portable operation.
Next Generation Recoil rigs are designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is approximately where the lens meets the camera body. In a Recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. This requires focus, monitoring and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.
